Lift and support the fuel tank......no instruction as if you need
some, please do not proceed further! :-). Kidding!...... remove both
black side panels secured by a single Allen bolt and held in place
by pegs through rubber grommets. Remove the riders seat,
attached on both sides of the frame by a single Allen bolt.
Disconnect the IAT sensor (Intake Air Temperature Sensor) electrical
connector arrowed in the picture below (left lower rear of airbox).
Use a flat bladed screw driver to apply pressure between the two
raised bits arrowed and pull.

Now on the right rear lower side of the airbox - undo the screw in
the foreground of the' picture below, which holds the IAP sensor (Intake
Air Pressure sensor) which the
electrical connector you can see below is connected to..........and
remove the cable retaining clip

Loosen the rear throttle body clamp - screw arrowed in the photo
below

Front right underside of the airbox - disconnect the crankcase
breather hose. The hose retaining spring clip might be difficult to
get to...before I could get access for pliers to squeeze the two
clip 'prongs' and release the retaining clip I had to twist it round
by hand.

A torch might be handy here - arrowed is the front throttle body
clamp screw. Loosen this with a long cross-head screw driver.

Disconnecting PAIR hoses - at this point I decided the easiest way
to proceed was to remove the hose from the front cylinder PAIR air
inlet.....partly for ease of access and not least as the airbox is
off for removal of the PAIR system! In the photo below the
hose retaining spring clip has already been released.
NB: To reduce risk of inadvertently bending radiator fins - slacken
the two upper radiator mount to frame bolts and remove the third
mount bolt (lower right-hand side altogether). You can now swing the
radiator forward a few centimetres giving you more space to work in.
I also taped a piece of card to the inner face of the radiator to
give some protection.

Nearly there.........you will now be able to raise the airbox enough
to remove the rear cylinder PAIR hose from the PAIR pump/valve and
disconnect the PAIR valve electrical connector (both arrowed below -
photo after I'd done this and removed the airbox, for clarity)

Gentle persuasion, to pull that front PAIR hose through and you can
lift the airbox away

I wrapped some cling film over the throttle body openings and
secured this in place with elastic bands to keep dirt and anything
I might drop out.
Now where's that PAIR removal kit Chewy sent me?!
