Well, my HeliBar conversion went smooth and took about a half hour. I took some pictures along the way to show the difference between the stock clip-on and the Helibars.

The stockers are bent downward at an angle that put a lot of pressure on the outside of my wrist - the Heli's have really made a big difference since they are "flatter".

I also opened up the angle of the bars by rotating them forward a bit - this accomplished a few things

1) the bars are wider - allowing more leverage and control in the twisties.
2) There is about a 1.5 inch (30mm) clearance on both sides of the tank, lock to lock. 3) There is PLENTY of throttle cable clearance even without re-routing them.

I am really enjoying the new bars - as an added benefit of not being as hunched over - I sit farther back in the seat where it is wider. It's still damn uncomfortable but until I cut the foam out it's a small relief.

$239.00 USD - Not terribly bad, the LSL kit was $450

I did not have to relocate, re-route or replace the brake lines nor throttle cables. I would recommend rerouting the throttle cables to the right side of the gooseneck if you prefer the bars closer to the tank - I opted to keep them out farther for more leverage and a "flatter" feel.
