Here's one I did earlier............I made up the no. plate bracket
and sealed the gaps by cutting out the required shapes from my
previously hacked gixxer mud guard/fender and used Tiger seal to
stick them in place..................I have a neater (smaller) plate
on since I took the photo..............looks neat enough.
