Not sure who's bike that is above but the following images are
courtesy of Madjohn who as you might guess from the 'mix and match'
plastics is only too well aware of the damage that can be done with
no frame sliders fitted:
......and 209AZ has sprayed them with smooth silver Hammerite. It'll
be interesting to see how well that lasts - I have some doubts as to
how well (permanently) the paint will take to the Nylon and
apparently the Nylon these sliders are made from is treated with
Moybdenum Disulphide (a lubricant) which makes the bobbins harder,
improves anti friction & makes them water resistant but will not
help paint adhesion!. Keep us posted 209AZ.
