Fit a Belly Pan to your Naked SV

Another really simple job once you've acquired the belly pan and fitting brackets.  Belly pans come up on Ebay from time to time or you can buy from a Suzuki dealer or buy an after-market part.  When speaking to your Suzuki dealer make sure you state that you want to install a SVS belly pan to an SVN. The brackets are also available from Suzuki dealers.

Torque settings: N-m lb-ft
Crankcase bolts (M6) 11 8.0
Oil cooler retaining bolts 10 7.3

1)  Undo the two oil cooler retaining bolts and pop out the two metal inserts from either side.

2)  Slide the front bracket behind the oil cooler and push the two bracket prongs
through the holes left behind from the inserts you removed.
3)  Re-fasten the oil cooler using the original bolts.

4)  Attach the two rear brackets via existing crankcase bolts as shown below in
the two photos below.

5)  Attach the belly pan - job done!

Here's a couple of photos showing the finished result...........nice!

And finally a photo of a belly pan on a silver Naked (Numanoid's bike)
