Sexy under seat exhaust system researched, designed
and built by
CraigBellamy Lots of hard work, about 3
nights a week (3 hours a night) from November 2003 until end of March
2004.
Story to come, meantime here's the links to the
threads on the Forum:

For those of you worried about the heat from the
exhaust damaging the back light or indicator wires, there is no
problem as the exhaust is so free flowing it doesn't collect
heat, after my 50 mile ride yesterday I was able to get off the bike
and put my hand on the can no problem.....
The only problem I could find after the ride was the spring was a
little too warm for my liking.....so I will make a guard some night
this week to protect it, just to be on the safe side!
For the people asking about clearance, please read my other updates
and you will see I tested out the clearance and there is miles of
room, not a chance of the can hitting the back tyre!
Cost ways, it didn't cost much, but it did take me from November to
get right mind! I used stock undertray, stock indicators etc and
made the end can up myself, the only thing I had to buy was the
stainless steel "weld bends" and a company in england did them for
me for £200 and I did the welding and all the rest myself! One other
thing I had made was the end part of the end can, I got a 54mm hole
made in it and it was welded up with the tig welder, which is much
neater than my mig! |

One last thing, If I was to produce this, a lot of work would still
have to be carried out buy the bikes owner, cutting the undertray,
making a box for the battery, heat shield etc.
But I'm sure I could get the weld bends, weld the system up, make a
can, and a bracket for the indicators and sell it, from you people
who are interested, what would you be prepared to pay for this?
