Everyone likes a nice ass! (Ad lib by Andy!)
Hi all - just a quick run-down of mods to my bike to date. I bought
this '03 naked from a friend who rode like a church lady and had
done nothing to it but mount Yosh RS-3 bolt-on oval mufflers.
I had a previous '03 naked that, well, has since met the crusher. I
won't bore you with the details; let it suffice to say I had mounted
Jorge's Renegade high-mount system with carbon cans on the first
naked
and besides me, the pipe work survived a rather ugly get-off in the
California Sierra Mountains. Both cans were toast though. That first
bike was totalled but all of my modding parts came off (along with a
lot of other spare parts :-) ) & found their way to this bike.
About the time I bought this bike I was checking out Chewy's site:
www.chewys-stuff.co.uk and came across his header pipe adapters
and his angled can mod kit. I loved the tone of the RS-3 cans even
better than the Renegade carbons so I decided to try and mount the
Yosh cans on the Renegade pipe work. Thanks to Chewy's fine stuff it
worked perfectly! I mounted them just as I had the Renegage carbon
cans except Chewy's angled can shims tucked the mufflers in a couple
of inches tighter at the rear than the Renegade cans had been. I
couldn't be more pleased with the results! Yosh really ought to
offer a similar high-mount set. The sound of these trumpets in full
blow it intoxicating!

just bought some Goodridge braided brake lines and a brighter
headlight bulb to install. I also have Renegade's air kit which I
had just bought for my previous naked and hadn't had a chance to
install. I'll wait for my trip to the local dyno for that and get
the whole setup Teka'd.
