Welcome to the second Newsletter - I did say you wouldn't get bombarded with mail from me but I didn't intend to leave it 4 months between Newsletters!

For anyone that hasn't noticed sv1000.inuk.com is now SuzukiSV1000.com so please update the link in your Browser's Bookmarks/Favorites to:

www.suzukisv1000.com

Anyone that has a website please update any existing links for sv1000.inuk.com to the new site  address of www.suzukisv1000.com or if you have not added a link I'd be very grateful if you would. (There is a choice of images that can be used with the link, at the bottom of the page here: www.suzukisv1000.com/links.htm ).....thanks

Hope you guys have had as good a summer/year 2005 on the SV as I have so far, just can't get enough of it.........
~ Spring and Autumn South West rideouts
~ Popham monthly meet 6 or so times
~ Popham 'Mega' Meet
~ Poole quay Bike Meet 6 or so times
~ UK Nat Meet weekend
~ Day out in Cumbria to meet a few of the guys oop North (600 mile round trip!)
........I'm sure there was more but it's late, I'm tired after a tour of north Devon on the SW Rideout today and memory eludes me (or might be the effect of a few beers ;-)
Missed out on the trackday at Llandow this year due to illness which really pi**ed me off after having had such a great time last year.  Mind you the weather wasn't very good so at least I saved a few hours of bike cleaning!

The SV turned 15000 miles today so time for another visit to see James at JHS in Bristol (http://www.jhsracing.co.uk/) ........he remapped the ECU on my bike for me a few months ago (search on Tekka or is it Teka! on the forum), best value performance mod you can do!!

I've had a few weeks rest from working on the site over the last couple of months or so (for a number of reasons that I won't bore you with but in part due to making the best of the summer weather :-) but will pull my finger out now to catch up on all the updates and new content to be added.
That said the list of updates since the last Newsletter is quite long....see below.

Big thanks to everyone that's contributed :niceone: .....all help very much appreciated.

Special mention for Jaap (Knaapie) who put so much time and effort into writing one of the longest articles in the FAQ section to date after his visit to HyperPro to have his SV1000's supension upgraded.  Jaap's efforts are all the more impressive when you remember that English is not his native language!

It was really great to meet Mario (Utah) and his wife Ingrid, who made the trip from Belgium, to this years meet.  We'll be only too pleased to see more Euro SV'ers at the 2006 Nat Meet.....if enough of you come over we'll rename it the Euro Meet :-)  Distance should be no object, you have an SV1000!......and you're guaranteed to have a great weekend (speak to Mario if you have any doubts).

ICE
A campaign encouraging people to enter an emergency contact number in their mobile phone's memory under the heading "ICE" (i.e. In Case of Emergency), has rapidly spread throughout the world as a particular consequence of the recent terrorist attacks in London. Originally established as a nation-wide campaign in the UK, ICE allows paramedics or police to be able to contact a designated relative / next-of-kin in an emergency situation.
